Perfect Day
We could not be happier with our decision to get married at Oak Mountain. Working with Laura and the entire team at Oak was the best part of our wedding planning process. Laura quickly answered any questions we had and made it so we didn’t have to worry about anything. Chef Lou did an exceptional job with the food. Every item we had was fantastic. We’ve been craving the caramel pecan brie ever since! We had an incredible day and heard from several of our guests that it was the best wedding they had ever attended. We cannot thank Laura and the staff at Oak enough for making our day perfect.
We can’t say enough great things about Laura and the rest of the staff at Oak. From the first tour we took of the venue to the wedding day, it was all so easy and stress-free. They are so accommodating and great to work with. Not to mention Oak Mountain is absolutely beautiful. The top of the mountain in breathtaking with both mountain and lake views. If you are looking for a beautiful outdoor ceremony with a rustic indoor reception, I would wholeheartedly recommend Oak without a doubt. They truly made our wedding day an amazing and beautiful experience. Oh and the food is AMAZING!!!
Laura and the entire Oak Mtn staff were out of this world awesome! I would get married here all over again if I had the chance. The amount of compliments we’ve received on the food and venue as a whole have been incredible. I would recommend Oak Mtn for any wedding or future event you are planning!!
Oak Mountain is the perfect place to have a wedding whether it be on the top of the mountain with the beautiful views and having you and your guests having a chair lift experience or inside under a beautiful altar (which is where we had ours). The venue is beautiful. There is a space for lawn games, a patio area with tables and chairs, a fire pit which is attached to the patio by a little walkway (beautiful flowers surround the patio and fire pit area), their bar/restaurant area for the cocktail hour, and a reception area that is very spacious and beautiful. It has all these windows to be able to look up the mountain, and they have decor draped on the ceiling which is so elegant and beautiful. Not only that but the food is absolutely amazing from the appetizers to the entrees, they are just mouth watering. Their chef is like I said before just absolutely amazing. He is such a nice guy and makes sure his dishes are perfect. They are also flexible with the menu which helped us as we changed things last minute. Which is another thing, Laura, the owner, not only texted, emailed, and called me over the past year to make sure everything was perfect for us, but she was so flexible especially with changes last second. She is such a beautiful person inside and out and I am so thankful for all the effort she put into making my day perfect. Her and her staff will make your wedding day dreams come true.
We had an amazing wedding at Oak Mountain! All of our family and friends raved to us about how wonderful it was, many saying it was the best wedding they had ever been to! The gorgeous views from the top of the mountain and the lift ride up really set our wedding apart. The food was absolutely delicious and creative. Everyone at Oak was so accommodating to my husband and I when we wanted to put our spin on things to make our day distinctly ours, from coming in to decorate beforehand, the structure of the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, to special touches with the food. We had so much fun and are forever grateful to Oak Mountain for making us feel so special!
Where do we even begin? My husband and I knew we wanted a unique atmosphere for our wedding with a fun and laid back experience for ourselves and all of our friends and family. We came across Oak Mountain and fell in love with the idea of getting married on a mountain, since we got engaged while hiking. We decided to make our first trip to Speculator and just fell in love with the mountain and with Laura! The views were breathtaking, the staff was friendly, the chair lift was a blast, and Laura truly made us feel at home. She had so many great suggestions, and unlike the other venues we visited we could tell that she does weddings because she enjoys making couples happy and not for the money. She was responsive and patient with us during the whole year of planning, and was super flexible regarding visits and making this wedding our own. She worked with all of our other vendors so seamlessly prior to and during our wedding. Everything was so beautiful and enjoyable. I can't imagine our day without Laura and the Oak Mountain staff. We wish we could press replay!!
