"When we started looking for a wedding venue, we wanted to get married in the mountains and we wanted it to be beautiful. Oak Mountain surpassed all of our hopes. When we arrived at Oak Mountain for a visit, we were blown away by how beautiful the site is! We were so excited to choose Oak Mountain as our wedding venue. The location in the Adirondacks is gorgeous. The chairlift ride was unforgettable. The ceremony at the top of the mountain was breathtaking. The lodge is lovely and became the perfect setting for our reception. The food was flat out delicious. The staff at Oak Mountain made us feel right at home and they were extremely accommodating. Laura was always just a phone call or an e-mail away. She was very helpful in helping us organize beforehand, taking care of every detail, and helping the entire thing to run smoothly. To give an example of how accommodating they are, we asked them to do an ice cream bar one week before the wedding. Not only did they pull everything together, but they went above and beyond what we expected. And of course, it was absolutely delicious! We still cannot get out of our heads the image of the mountains surrounding us, the clouds rolling around in the sky, the lakes off in the distance, and just the overall feeling of peace and joy that we felt during our ceremony. Getting married at Oak Mountain, as cliché as it sounds, really was a dream come true. We could not have been happier!"
